When is the official application deadline for the 51st PSI 2013?
Booking deadline for the 51st PSI Trade Show 2013 is October 1st, 2012.
Is there a minimum size for a stand?
The minimum size is a 12 sqm row stand.
Smaller spaces are available on request, based on actual allocation process and/or actual situation.
Which fees agreed by contract will be charged in addition?
Beside the stand rental fee, additional costs for the marking fee € 585,- (advertising material & catalogue entries), insurance € 296,-, AUMA € 0,60 (per m²), TÜV (stand inspection fee) € 23,- and stand partition walls € 36,- (per RM) will be charged. The insurance can be credited if the exhibitors has his own valid third liability insurance with the requested amount of cover (please refer to the following question).
Any technical service ordered additionally will be charged after the show.
Does our company need an exhibitor insurance?
An insurance for exhibitors (third liability) is mandatory, if you want to participate in the 51st PSI 2013. The amounts which must be covered are min. 3.2 Mio EUR for damage to property and personal injury and 50.000 EUR for financial losses. For HALLE13 exhibitors the insurance is already included in the packages.
Why is an „AUMA-Fee“ charged?
AUMA stands for „Ausstellungs- und Messeausschuss der deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry). AUMA represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organizations. www.auma-messen.de
The received fees (per sqm stand space € 0,60) will be redirected to AUMA by Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH without any discount.
How many exhibitor badges will our company receive and when?
The badges will be stagged according to your stand size:
up to 20 m² – 4 badges
24 – 59 m² – 6 badges
60 – 119 m² – 10 badges
120 – 199 m² – 20 badges
200 – 399 m² – 40 badges
400 – 999 m² – 80 badges
over 1.000 m² – 100 badges
The badges will be dispatched from beginning of December (exact date depending on order date and destination country). Badges which can not be sent out due to time constraints can be picked up on site at the pre-registered ticket counters.
Please do not forget to take your order confirmation with you.
Where can I access the PSI show?
The 51st PSI 2013 can be accessed through entrance North-East at HALLE13 and entrance North (1st floor) at hall 9.
How can our company order technical services for the PSI show?
All technical services can be ordered online in our OSC (Online Service Center). The OSC will be available for access by the beginning of October 2013.
What are the times and dates for set-up and dismantling?
Regular set-up (official times):
Sunday, 06th January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Monday, 07th January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Tuesday, 08th January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Kindly please note that the craftsmen of Messe Dusseldorf are only on site up to 6 p.m. at the latest. After this due time will be only a skeleton crew available on site. Due to this we cannot assure the full service range round the clock.
The final hall cleaning starts at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, January 08th, 2013. Please be so kind and remove all kind of stand-construction material from the hall aisles.
Early set-up (liable to costs):
Early set-up is possible from January 2nd, 2013 only on written request without any exception. The service charge is per day and exhibitor. The early set-up is subject to special approval by PSI. During the early set-up there will be no craftsmen available on site after 4.30 p.m. Due to this we can not assure the full-service range round the clock.
The early set-up is subject to permission!
Wednesday, 2nd January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Thursday, 3rd January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Friday, 4th January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Saturday, 5th January 2013: 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Dismantling:
Friday, 11th January 2013: 5.00 p.m. non-stop up to
Saturday, 12th January 2013: 10.00 p.m.
Kindly please note: Vehicles used for dismantling may enter the fairground on the last day of the fair at 6 p.m. at the earliest.
An extension of the dismantling period is not possible!
What is the maximum construction height?
Base construction height: TOP 2,50m
Max.height free of approval: TOP 3,20m
Max. overall construction height (limited by the ceiling of the halls: TOP 6,00m solely on request with special permission and approval!
Back sides of stands, bordering neighbour stands must be clean and plain white from a height of 2,50m (3.20m) not to affect the design of the neighbour stand.
Two-story constructions and platforms (e.g. stages) over 20cm height are in any case subject to approval and are liable to a detailed static check by an external engineering office.

It is required that the goods are accepted by signature by your stand staff or by the addressee in person. The organiser is not allowed to accept any deliveries for exhibitors for insurance purposes.

Will there be a deposit for entering the fair by vehicle?
Gateway regulations on 8th January 2013 (Last set-up day)
Access to the premises of the exhibition center with a passenger car is only granted for loading and unloading purposes for a deposit of € 100,-. The time frame is limited to max. 90 minutes. If your stay exceeds the time limit, your deposit will not be returned.
After unloading, passenger cars can be parked in the near hall 3 and hall 4 as well as behind hall 13 until 10:00 pm.
Your deposit will be refunded at the access roads to those parking areas.
Access to the premises of the exhibition center with a transporter (max. 3,5t) is only granted for loading and unloading purposes for a deposit of € 100,-. The time frame is limited to max. 150 minutes. If your stay exceeds the time limit, your deposit will not be returned. Transporters need to be parked in the parking area P2 after the time frame of 150 minutes has expired. P2 is accessible via gate 1
Labelled „IN&OUT Shuttles” will transport you back and forth between P2 and the respective halls.
Free access for trucks!
Duration:
09th – 11th January 2013: For any kind of vehicle, access via gate 1 is only granted for a deposit of € 100,- for max. 60 min.
11th January 2013: For passenger cars, access via gate 1 is granted until 4 p.m. for max 60 min and a deposit of € 100,-.
All other vehicles (transporter, passenger cars with trailer, truck) have access until 1 p.m. against deposit.
Dismantling:
Access to the area during the dismantling period is possible from Friday, 11th January at 5 p.m.!
Vehicles arriving earlier will be directed to parking lot P1. This parking area is not free of charge.
11th -12th January 2013: Free access for all vehicles during full days of the dismantling period.
If your stay exceeds the time limit, your deposit will not be returned.
